HCF: Dreams come true in Yellowknife

With help from the Daryl K. Seaman Canadian Hockey Fund at the Calgary Foundation, the Hockey Canada Foundation partnered with Hockey North and Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities to outfit 30 young players from head to toe with new Bauer equipment and get them onto the ice and into the game - alongside NHL alumni Paul Coffey and Colin Patterson. Since 2007, Dreams Come True – a program designed so a child’s involvement in the game doesn’t have to be compromised – has helped more than 1,400 children and their families.
